1 Year Ago Today...

One year ago today (Feb. 8, 2010) we recieved our referral for Makeda. This was the first day that we saw those beautiful eyes - haunting yet beautiful.

this was the ONLY picture that we had of her for the first month or two.
Last month in Panama- the same beautiful eyes - this time with a different story, at least in my opinion.
