....one year ago today we legally became Simret's! I year ago today, we passed court in Ethiopia and our adoption was FINALLY finalized...it was one year ago today that Simret joined our family....however, it wasn't for another month that we actually met.
It is funny how time has gone by so quickly yet so slow at the same time. It seems like only yesterday we meet and yet it seems like a lifetime ago?

And it has been the most miraculous year of all our lives. I honestly think your journey to Simret was more fun than my path to Luke. Maybe just on my end?? Not that I don't love him now, but you know what I'm talking about. I can't WAIT for summer, for bikes, and wine, and music and DAVE!!!
