We found out this morning that Simret is legally ours; we passed court! I am officially a mother. It hasn't really hasn't sunk in yet?
We leave February 2nd for an adventure in southern Ethiopia; where we plan to meet some of the local tribes, view the wildlife, camp in a National Park, and learn about Simret's heritage and culture. We get to meet Simret February 11th and plan to spend that week in Addis Ababa and return home February 15th.
Words cannot describe how excited I am to finally meet her.
The journey has just begun...
