We got our referral today! I was surprised, as I kept my phone on vibrate during the entire conference today hoping Lisa would call me. I was disappointed as the day came to end; only to turn on my computer and find our referral on my email. I called Lance immediately and didn't open up the pictures until him and the boys did at the same time. I wish that we were not in two different States. I wish we could have been together looking at our daughter and their sister for the first time; but how exciting and yet confusing. I thought for sure that our coordinator would have called us with the good news; and now it is 5 pm and she is going to be gone for the evening. I called and left her a message anyway, asking her how old she was, what her situation was, etc. on her voice mail. The email only contained her pictures; and how beautiful she is...and that was it. I have now found out that they are not allowed to release that information via email. So, our family stared at her picture for hours crying and commenting about how amazing this is. I feel so fortunate to have the opportunity to be her mother. Wow, I will be a mother soon...what will that feel like? It feels amazing right now!
