Granny (my adoptive mother) came to visit a few weeks ago for a couple of days. Instead of Simret's usual routine of going to daycare while I was at work, she hung out with Granny... which consisted of shopping, eating, playing, eating again, and finally shopping. I'm not sure where she gets it, but Simret has proven to be a girly-girl.... the frillier...the better. She loves to accessorize and isn't content unless she is wearing a dress and her pink boots. So, my mom spent a great deal of time adding to her wardrobe.
The fashion diva tired after another shopping outing with Granny. Ready for Daddy to put her down for a nap.

Asking for the camera.
Thanksgiving in Gillette
We did go back to Gillette for the Holiday... I was slightly overdue as our last visit there was over 6 months ago. Simret had a great time hanging out with her Granny and her cousins Isaac & Seth. We stayed 2 days and quite honestly that was more than enough time spent in Gillette. It's not that I don't like to visit my family nor Gillette for that matter- but my limit is a couple of days.
Simret & her cousin Isaac trying to decided what video to watch. You see that is all we do at Granny's house- watch children's videos 24 hours a day and play while the movie plays in the background. I swear that if I hear Elmo's voice in the next couple of days...it might be the end of me. I think Simret had her TV quota for a lifetime in those 2 days.

This year Simret is driving the Cadillac to the park across the street. She insisted that she was not going to be the passenger this time.
