bath-time
I apologize that I have been so horrible about finishing my journal from our Ethiopia trip. I will work on my blog more this week (as I am starting to get complaints-and truly want to finish it).

Yesterday was Simret's first time swimming...she loved it then passed out for a couple hours afterwards.
We went swimming with Ty, Tayler, and Letha...
We went to Texas to visit Lance's family last week. We were suppose to fly out of Denver to Dallas then to Abilene...but when we arrived in Denver at 2pm we found out that our flight was cancelled and that we could not get on another flight to Dallas for a week-due to thunderstorms and all the passengers that needed to be rescheduled. Lance's whole family was suppose to be there-and we were to take a family photo-so we had no other choice but to drive. Yup, you heard me DRIVE. It is one thing when you are prepared to drive 15 hours with a baby and it is certainly another when you are not. All I could think was "this is going to be the worst idea in the history of worst ideas". But, actually it went rather smoothly. Simret was amazing...only a few meltdowns...she traveled better than I did...I think?

She is getting so big...I can't even believe how much she has changed already:-) Where do you get those hats...I love them!! I miss you all and can't wait to see you in June!!
The hats are great. I've never seen such fabulous headwear.
I'm still hoping to see you in June. I'm almost positive it's going to work out. I can't wait. We miss you guys so much. It will be just awesome to get our littles together again. Thank you for posting- seeing those pictures made me very happy. Simret and her family have serious fans.
texas in march is far better than texas in august. at least you didn't have to pawn a tv and some jewelry to get there, or hop fences.

tap...tap...tap. Love you! But give us more!
First of all, I am although I was there, I am anxiously awaiting the "rest of the story" from your journal.
Secondly, I must say that Simret just gets more and more beautiful (and she was gorgeous upon our first meeting).
Thirdly, is she the best dressed girl in Wyoming?? Love the fancy hats... I'd like some for myself!!
Finally... I sure am looking forward to seeing you in June. I miss you and think of you all so often.
Kisses and hugs to all of you (especially that delicious baby girl and your fabulous boys).
