We arrived in Addis at about 7:30pm and got our Visas-we were in line quickly and it wasn't too bad; however the line did become super long by the time that we were finished. I am now just starting to feel human again-as I vomited over 8 times in the last 24 hours-probably a combo of malaria meds and motion. Cheur (the owner of the guiding company that I only spoke with on-line) was thankfully at the airport to meet us when we arrived-I was a bit nervous about this. He seems like a great guy. He introduced us to our guide that will be with us for the next week on our adventure South-Mesfin. We then went straight to the hotel (Hilton) to change and then to dinner for a traditional Ethiopian meal with both of them. Cheur had us sit in front of the stage; right next to the live entertainment (music and dancers). To sum up the night-I ended up eating raw meet that was fed to me by the hand of an Ethiopian man, Colton threw-up in his hands at dinner and put it back on the plate (it didn't look much different coming up), and Lance & Dylan each danced on stage. The locals loved how Dylan danced (which is probably the first culture that has appreciated his form of dance). He also learned the Ethiopian shoulder dance and is quite good at it...you should ask him to demonstrate some day? Until tomorrow-J

I am enjoying this so much, Jill.
Please give Simret a big kiss from me. While you're at it give smooches from me to Lance, Dylan, and Colton, too (but make sure Colton isn't throwing up when you do it)...
