When we returned from our 2 week adventure from Ethiopia our friends were there to welcome us home. Jen and the kids made a "Welcome Home Simret" banner and hung it on the wall going up the stairs. Simret still has the "Simret" part of the banner hanging in her room; and loves for me to point to each letter and say the letter until it spells her name and then she points to herself when I say "Simret" (if that makes any sense at all)? Below are some pictures of her welcome home with our "Laramie Family". Two weeks later, we had a big party for friends and family to welcome Simret home-kind of a baby shower that my sweet sister Jess put on for us.
