Today we got multiple inches of snow; so I decided when I got off of work that I would take Simret for her 1st sledding adventure. It wasn't exactly in the mountains...or anywhere spectacular for her 1st time...just our front yard?
Getting her into her snow outfit was like a scene from the Christmas Story (one of my all time favorite movies). Her arms were sticking our like a "T" (because she was bundled up so well) and then she took 1 step forward (in her new snow boots) and face-planted.
She did seem to enjoy the sledding, once I got her out of the house (it took at least 15 minutes to put her in her snow gear). She cried when we came in (fake cried)...so, we went back out for round number 2-her nose was so red...so we came back in again...and again fake cry?
She fell off of the sled here and isn't quite sure how to get up with all of these clothes on?
Seriously, Mom how many pictures are you gonna take?

I'm watching a "Christmas Story" as I write this. She's so darn cute in her snowsuit, but I am not missing the snow yet, ours isn't due until tonight!!
