This post really has no reason; I have just realized that I have become one of those parents that takes a picture of absolutely anything and everything that their child does that might possibly be "cute" or something "I don't want to forget she did" or whatever other excuse I can come up with to take a picture of her. The interesting part is that I have been plagued with this disease of capturing every moment of her life on camera for over a year now. I thought the novelty of taking her picture 10 times a day would ware off and that it was a natural phase that I would slowly grow out of. Well, it hasn't! So, here is some randomness...

Simret in her traditional Ethiopian attire...with her favorite buffalo slippers.

dancing...and more dancing...she especially loves dancing with her Buffaloes on.

on our way to the University to an Indian Pow Wow...which she enjoyed even more than I thought she would. This is her second year attending...but this year she felt the need to participate; which meant that Mom and Dad had to participate in the dances as well. When we left she kept saying and signing "more...more". I tell you...this girl could dance all day long?

Simret and Hannah doing what they do best...living on the edge...the crazier the better for these two girls!

Cute pictures, she is an absolute doll :) I'm bad about picture taking too...so bad in fact the boys see the camera and stop what they're doing, smile, and say "cheese" Sad, huh????
Very cute stuff! Thank you for sharing.
I love all of your sunset pictures. Amazing.
