This is Simret's 1st Jazz Festival and her second music festival (her 1st last year @ Telluride Bluegrass Festival). She having the time of her life. She loves New Orleans-the people, the constant music-anywhere you go, and the wonderful food! Simret has managed to get the eye of a couple of band members and have them wave back to her or say something about her in the microphone. She loves it and is a true groupie at heart-already flirting with every band member she can (male, female, old, young...it doesn't matter-she will flirt with them all!). She passed out twice at the music festival, which is unusual because she usually only naps once a day (I guess she is having a hard time keeping up with Mommy and Daddy). She was even danced-out by the end of the day. I said to her "dance, dance" like she says to me over and over every day until I dance with her for what feels like hours at a time-this time she is the one that could no longer dance. We are having a wonderful time. 2 days left-I just hope for a good nights sleep tonight-we all need it!

I don't know why, but looking at these pictures made me get all teary. I just miss you all so much. There is something so beautiful/perfect about you guys at the Jazz Festival. Maybe next year we'll have to join you :)
