Thursday Feb. 14th 2008- Email to Family/Friends

Dear Family/Friends,

Today we went shopping and are now about to leave for the Thomas Center for a goodbye party. Simret gets to say goodbye to the nannies that have taken such wonderful care of her while she was here. They loved her so much...there was one nanny that kept saying her name and crying when we took her the first day...it truly broke my heart. So many mixed emotions? Anyway, I did take some pictures of our Valentine's Butterfly for you all to see. She is still snot nosed and coughing. I am feeling so much better...although I did vomit again last night? Not sure what my problem is. I just had my first glass of wine in days...so somehow that has made me feel more human today. Today we get her passport and all official paperwork to leave the country. All the other families that are here are leaving tonight. So, we have one more day to recover and then return home...I am ready! The boys have been great and are falling more in love and feeling more comfortable with Simret every day...Colton even fed her a bottle yesterday (huge step) wish I had a picture to prove it.
Love and miss you all,
jill
