We have been home together for 3 months now. She has changed so much in the last three months. Here is a little update: She has 4 teeth (2 top, 2 bottom). She is mobile...usually only backwards and in a big circle...but she has almost figured out this crawling thing; even though she hates to be on her belly. She would rather stand. She is such a sweet natured baby; however, she is busy all the time, unless she is sleeping. In Ethiopia she didn't have any toys and during our week there...she was satisfied with one toy (even on the plane ride home). Now, she tires of a toy in less than 10 minutes and is looking for the next thing to explore; she is like a scientist....curious how things work and then testing each one out (by putting them in her mouth of course). She smiles more than not. Her favorite food is oatmeal and she is trying to learn how to feed herself (what a mess!). She doesn't quite have the fine motor skills down to pick up her "puffs"; but she seems to find a way to get them into her mouth (usually by grabbing my hand with both of her hands and shoving it in her mouth or by using no hands and eating them off of the high chair tray)...she is very resourceful. She recognizing me when I pick her up from daycare-by smiling and flinging her arms in the air, or jumping up and down if in a bouncer (that melts my heart more than anything). She loves our dogs, ceiling fans, swimming, swinging, anything dangerous, and her Daddy. She is FINALLY sleeping through the night (which started on Mother's Day...what a sweet present). Well that is all that I can think of for now. She is looking forward to spending most of the summer outside in our mountains with friends and cannot wait to see Judah and Pacey next month!

Swinging...

more swinging...
Lance may kill me for posting this picture...but it is my absolute favorite! It was at the gym shower after swimming one day...to me it is beautiful!
...swinging her upside down...one of her favorite games! trying to figure out a spoon?

What a sweet sweet baby girl. She brings tears to my eyes. Give her kisses from Jeff and I and we'll see you soon.
I love the shower picture!! Simret and Pacey have a lot in common:-) Maybe because they are sort of sisters:-)
What a beautiful post, Jill. You can feel your love just pouring from it. You're a great mom. I think of you and your family every day...
