I know I haven't finished my journal of our adventures in Ethiopia...but it is coming, I promise...I have a few entries started and saved. It has taken me much longer than I had previously expected...hard to find a few spare minutes. Life here is wonderful...the weather is getting warmer. I am now able to bike Simret around town...she loves riding in her little chariot on the back of my bike (will have to post a picture later).
I love her more everyday...kind of hard to explain...although those of you that read this...know. She is everything that I never knew I needed...
Contemplating what song to play next...
Our little musician...
Yes, she finally wore "the shirt" Mike..
She has started becoming mobile...just in the wrong direction...backwards! She puts everything, and I mean everything in her mouth...including her girlfriend Hannah's shoe!
I also cut my hair off...
put
ting her arm around her boyfriend Ty at the pool
Wearing Daddy's hat...
This picture is the definition of Simret...a busy, spirited little girl...Which I am quite sure will be a handful when she is older! She seems to enjoy life more than most...

I have enjoyed your story for a long time. I am adopting a little one soon, what amazes me is how much she fits your family's personality. I think it is absolutely true that there is a higher power working to put the perfect personality in our lives. She is absolutely beautiful!
i don't know robbin, but i agree with her comments.... your personality's are in harmony for sure, and while you look far from the same, you both have a unique look. you are both beautiful inside and out. i can't wait to visit both of you. there is a red thread among all of us. love you both, ro
Simret is using the moves Judah taught her isn't she:-) She gets more beautiful with each picture!! And, love the hair!!
I know exactly what you mean- loving her more everyday. I'm so glad that you are enjoying mommyhood. The picture of you and Simret biking makes me smile. Oh, and last but not least, I love your hair. I've been thinking about chopping mine. Can't wait till next month!
I think the most amazing thing about parenthood is that you continue to love them more every day... even when you thought it just wasn't possible to love them more than you did the day before.
Simret is a true beauty, Jill. And (speaking of beautiful) I really *love* the new hair! Did Jocelyn tell you I got my nose pierced when we got back from Ethiopia? I've always wanted to do it and you inspired me to just go for it because it looks so good on you.
Kisses to all of you... I hope we'll see you soon, so I'll keep you posted after surgery about what his orders are and whether we'll be going to Denver or not.
