New Year 2008

I have done some reflection on the previous year and have decided that last year was an absolutely amazing year! I feel fortunate to have had so many adventures with family and friends. We went to Alaska with Lance's family for our one year anniversary, Dylan graduated from high school and started college, Colton started high school and starting driving (scary), I turned the dreaded 31, we had our "summer of love" music festival tour (traveling the country in search of good music), we mountain biked more days than not, my little sister Sara got married, we ate wild raspberries in the mountains after most of our bike rides in the Fall until we were ill (with a little champagne, of course), Letha and Shane had a baby (Simret's prearranged boyfriend), Lance's brother and his wife had a baby, and we received a referral for a beautiful baby girl from Ethiopia.
This year was a celebration of love, birth, and adventure!

My New Year's resolutions: 1) to understand the beauty in the virtue of patience 2) to practice living in the present and 3) to celebrate the moment, instead of worrying about the future.

Cheers to another year filled with adventure and love,
jill
